Bobsterman3000: This is what happens when you let Karpov get any real advantage, however slight...
Aug-21-05  Bobwhoosta: I thought moves 36 through 39 particularly cool to watch, dimming black's activity before taking the pawn back, and solidifying his advantage.
Jun-09-18  Kingpin64: 32.Nxa5! involves a neat, unheard melody: 32...Rxa5 33.Qxa8+! Rxa8 34.Rxa8+ Kh7 (34...Nf8 35.Rbb8) 35.Rb7! (threat: 36.Raa7) Qd6 36.Rd8 and wins.

Karpov's extra pawn is doubled but still turns an otherwise drawn position into a win.

The key line is the one played in the game: 95..Rd4 96 Ra7+! Ke8 97 Kxh6 Rxg4 98 Rg7

A side-line:

Unzicker could not improve with 100..Rh4+ 101 Kg6 Ra4 due to 102 Rb7 Ra6+ 103 Kh7 and the White King's reaching the 7th rank is decisive.

Oct-23-20  fisayo123: Black barely makes any mistakes and he still gets grounded down to dust. Karpov's technical ability and endgame skills are from another world.
