Kibitzer's Corner
Aug-12-05  Jaymthetactician: This is such a good game! Why hasent anyone posten on it before?! I mean two world chamions go at it really well! Allthough the game was clearly even, I think white could have won with 29.h3 as he has the better king position and knight.

The final position looks close to a dead draw to me.

After the suggested 29. h3, Black can liquidate with 29...Nd6, for example 29. h3 Nd6 30. Nxd6 Rxd6 31. Ke4 Rxd4+ 32. Kxd4 Kd6. If White then tries too hard to win the pawn ending, he gets overextended, as in 33. c5+?! bxc5 34. bxc5+ Kc6 35. a4 a5 36. h4 h5 37. Kc4 e5, etc.
