Jan-02-07  jackmandoo: I dont understand why Pinter allowed Viktor to maneauver his peices so that at the end of the game he would eventually be checkmated? I always at least draw, never lose.
Jan-10-07  Tenderfoot: I'll take this one: it's 'cause Pinter is a chump and always was a chump, case closed!
Jan-10-07  Shams: <jackmandoo> I guess that's why Korchnoi refuses to play you.

Pinter was a solid grandmaster who has played many nice games. by far his best, though, was Portisch- Pinter 1984.

Jan-13-07  technical draw: Hey, Pinter was playing in Beer Sheva, so what do you expect?
