Kibitzer's Corner
Sep-07-05  Everett: Karpov smashes Hort's dubious Scandinavian. This is a repeat game by the way.
Dec-07-06  who: 5...a6 (instead of 5...Bd7) looks like a mistake. I don't understand why Hort was so willing to double and isolate his pawns.
Aug-28-20  Gaito: 19...Re7? was a weak move. He should have tried an active defense, even at the cost of sacrificing a pawn: 19...a5!, with the idea of ...Ba6, getting thereby some counterplay. The worst strategy against someone like Karpov is to play passively.
