  fredthebear: In the final position, it's 26.BxBg2 f3 piling on the pinned Bg2 set by the Black queen. The White queen will have to give herself up to prevent mate 27.Qxf3 RxQf3.

Declining to capture BxB allows the discovered check and mate on the g-file 26...Bf3+ 27.Bg2 QxBg2#.
