Kibitzer's Corner
Sep-13-05  chess man: Black's threat is 37...Rxb2 38.Kxb2 e4+ 39.Kb1 Qa1+ 40.Kc2 Qb2++ or 39.Kc1 Qa1+ 40.Kc2 Qb2++ or 39.Kc2 Qa2+ 40.Kc1 Qb2++. I'm pretty sure that is the finish but I'm not positive. I haven't looked at it long and I've been figurinig it out in my head. Perhaps there's a simpler threat I don't know.
Feb-05-14  Karpova: Reti received a 50 Francs Brilliancy prize for this game.
