Aug-07-17  zydeco: Geller couldn't get anything going on the kingside.

Probably a better defense is 32.Nxe2 Rxe2 33.Qb3 (or 33.Qc1) and if 33...Rxe4 34.dxe5.

Honza Cervenka: 34.Qd3? was a serious slip, which cost white this game. 34.Qg1 was necessary. The main problem is that for evample after 35.exd6 Rc1+ 36.Rxc1 Qxc1+ 37.Qb1 Qf4 white has no sufficient defence to save his two hanging Knights, for example 38.Qd3 (covering Ng3 indirectly due to discovered attack Ng5+) 38...Ne3 39.Ng5+ Kg8 40.Nh1 Qxg4 with threat 41...Qg1+ 42.Qb1 Nc2#, and now after 41.b3 black can play 41...Qg1+ 42.Qb1 Nc2+ 43.Kb2 Qd4+ 44.Kc1 Qe3+ 45.Kd1 Qe1+ 46.Kxc2 Qe2+ 47.Kc1 Rc8+ with mate in next move.
