  tamar: Geller, still smarting from the shelacking from Smyslov the round before Smyslov vs Geller, 1956, rejected a draw offer after move 21.

31...Rc4 was a clear blunder, but Geller had fashioned a breakthrough that Panno was perhaps trying to prevent tactically.

if 31...Kh8 32 Qf5 Bxb4 33 Be4 and White cannot be stopped.
