Oct-16-05  aw1988: Absolutely stunning. I never heard of this before now. f3 and Nxd5 and Nf5-g7 and Bh6 I've only seen a couple times, every one of them unique.
Oct-16-05  Palma Vest: A crazy game, typical Shirov's, the closest resemblance of Tal's in our era

Gypsy: <46.Kc1(?)> I am wondering if this may be the move that ultimately lost the game; 46.Ke1 would keep the king close to the key g3-pawn and it is not clear how Black can organize a winning breakthrough.

The chase ... 46.Ke1 Bc3+ 47.Kf1 Bh3+ 48.Kg1 Bd4+ 49.Kh1 ... is fun, but does not seem to yield anything special, as ... 49...Rxa8 50.Rxa8...

50...Bf2 is now answered by the obvious 51.Kh2.

May-28-19  sadosa: A multi-facet game. Wheewww!!! It blew my mind out.
