Oct-10-05  Helios727: So why did white resign?
Oct-10-05  pdor2005: <Helios727> Well White is going to lose h2 and g3. This was his 41st move , so it could indicate that after time trouble has passed , White realized he was lost.

tcfix: Fischer was in for the long game, and either the g or the h pawn was going to make it to the last rank. Troianescu's Knights were never going to be in position. You would think as many times as Fisher stacked his bishops Troianescu could have found an advantage, but from the 22nd move Fisher new he would need to clear g and h for his pawns to advance. That was thinking 20 moves ahead.
Mar-21-16  Mudphudder: Fischer making good use of the bishop pair here. Nice game, Bobby.
