Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-22-08  Wone Jone: This was the big anticlimax of ARVO 1938. This was their last round game, and they were tied for first going into it. However, they both apparently decided that the certainty of finishing tied for first was better than taking a chance of finishing second. Makes Krush-Zatonsikh at the 2007 US Women's Championship look tame by comparison. I mean, how gutless can you get?
Mar-25-08  wanabe2000: You are correct.
Apr-26-08  Wone Jone: Might I suggest a Game of the Day title for this one: "Yes, We have No Huevos."
Sep-03-09  WhiteRook48: 17 Bb4- 18 Qd4 the art of the skewer
