  fredthebear: 22.RxBe4? White did not need to sacrifice the exchange here. Instead 22.Qb3 should equalize as Black must use a tempo to move his king out of the line of check, or 22...Bd5 23.Qd1, followed by fxBe5.

However, this is a blitz game, and many of us would have played as Torre did when in a hurry.
