Jul-02-13  Karpova: The game score given here differs from the one on page 180 of the 1899 'Wiener Schachzeitung':

[Event "Main Tournament"]
[Site "Moscow"]
[Date "1899.09.14"]
[Round "-"]
[White "Chigorin, Mikhail"]
[Black "Bojarkov, W"]
[Result "1-0"]
[ECO "C00"]

1.e4 e6 2.Qe2 Nc6 3.Nc3 e5 4.d3 Nf6 5.f4 Bc5 6.fxe5 Nxe5 7.Nf3 d6 8.Bg5 h6 9.Bh4 g5 10.Bg3 Bg4 11.O-O-O Nc6 12.Qe1 Qe7 13.Be2 O-O-O 14.Rf1 Rhf8 15.Nd2 Be6 16.Nb3 Bb6 17.Bf2 Bxb3 18.axb3 Ba5 19.Bg1 d5 20.Qf2 Bxc3 21.bxc3 Qa3+ 22.Kd2 Nxe4+ 23.dxe4 dxe4+ 24.Ke1 Rxd1+ 25.Bxd1 Rd8 26.Qe2 Qa5 27.Qc4 Qa1 28.Ke2 Qc1 29.Be3 Qa1 30.Qxe4 Qxc3 31.Rxf7 Qa1 32.Qe6+ Kb8 33.Rd7 Qa6+ 34.Kf2 Rf8+ 35.Rf7 Rd8 36.Bf3 Qa1 37.Bxc6 bxc6 38.Qxc6 Qe5 39.Bxa7+ 1-0

As can be seen, the difference occurs at move 14 with 14.Nd2 Be6 here and 14.Rf1 Rhf8 in the 'Wiener Schachzeitung'. It's unlikely that it was a typo in the latter as 14...Rhf8 is annotated and Rhe8 suggested instead.
