Kibitzer's Corner
Nov-28-07  micartouse: This game is very beautiful. The unlucky knight is trapped. White will finish with 21. a4 and 22. Qc3+.

Botvinnik was using one of his favorite setups: Pawns on e4 and c4, knights on c3 and c2, double fianchetto, and eventually Nd5. Black didn't play for a pawn break quickly enough and would have a rough game even if he hadn't got his piece caught behind enemy lines.

Dec-09-10  cocker: Position after 18 ... ♘b5 might make a reasonable puzzle for Wednesday/Thursday. No sacrfice is required, just a cunning plan to catch the errant knight: ♗xg7, ♖c1, a4, ♕c3+. In fact I think White could have transposed moves 19 & 20.
