Kibitzer's Corner
Aug-14-06  Maynard5: This is a rather interesting positional game, which Botvinnik included in his collection. There are no flashy tactics here. Instead, Black is able to gradually accumulate small advantages. First, White loses a great deal of time misplacing his pieces, and then has to expend more time getting them back on the correct squares. Then Black is able to exchange knight for bishop, and eventually obtain the two bishops. Finally, the bishops are able to support an advance of the kingside pawns.

47.♘a7 ♗f4 48.♘e2 ♗e3+ winning a knight.
