May-29-11  dull2vivid: 5.dxc5 is a nice simple way to play for an advantage. Well done. Better is 5…h6 then, simply, …0-0 with an equal game.

8…Nd4 gives up piece the center for the bad reason of simplification, white has enough material to exploit his extra central control, proving blacks plan wrong. This move loses, actually, because d6 is so weak for a black post, or black will castle right into an attack, or be black’s king will be stuck in the center waiting to for a drive-by shooting. White wins in forced style.

Jul-31-13  TheFocus: This game is from the Leningrad - Moscow Team Match.

According to Botvinnik in <One Hundred Selected Games>, the moves 41-43 did not occur. The game was adjourned after Black's 40th move and Botvinnik was awarded the win during adjudication.

Jul-25-14  1d410: Earlier rook activation decides the game
