Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-15-22  jerseybob: I remember seeing this game years ago in an anthology of attacking games. Bisguier's plan of opening the g-file and foregoing castling looks chancy but might be a good OTB practical choice, but surrendering the open g-file with 19..Rh8 makes no sense to me. How about 19..Qd6 and if 20.Qxh6,000, and who knows what kind of mischief black might cook up on the 2 open files. Black has long since rejected the idea of a "safe" game.

Apr-16-22  cehertan: What a sweet attacking game by Euwe. The quiet forcing move 28.Rh3 down a rook and piece was superb.
