Mar-03-06  Knight13: I can't believe a master plays 8. Bb5. He should've castled. What's the point of moving a piece 2 times in a row in the opening and wasting a tempo?

Nice game. Very nice. Love the way Black played the game. Philidor would love to see this ending!!

Jul-22-18  shallowred: Schiffers' notes are from the Tournament Book.

The exclamation point and note ("After this move, Black's Pawns rush forward with irresistible force.") actually come after 32...Rc4!.

I stumbled upon this cool Exchange Sacrifice during my early studies of Master Games, and it left a lasting impression on me.
