Kibitzer's Corner
Jun-29-04  morphynoman2: An amazing queen sacrifice.
Jul-17-06  Knight13: Not that suprising for me: a knight and a rook for a queen. Obviously, after the sac, White's pieces were better.
Jul-13-07  imag: Bird missed a much quicker win:

26...Bc8?? 27. Rxf8+! Rxf8 28. Bxe6+ Rf7 29. Rxf7 Qc6 30. Rc7+ 1-0

Dec-06-14  chesssalamander: Bird's only win against Gossip in the database. Gossip has five wins against Bird.
Oct-02-18  romancitog: I have added Bird's Opening to my blitz game repertoire and I have been enjoying success with it as few of the opponents I have faced so far knew how to properly defend against it. You just have to play around with it and study the theory behind the Bird to appreciate this unique opening. It can drive decent club players to distraction.
