Positionally, one would think of 11...Bxc3 to play against the doubled pawn weakness on a semiopen column, but it doesn't work tactically: 12.bxc3 Qc7 13.Rd1 Ke7 14.Ng5 with the double threat Qxf7+ and Bxb7 followed by Qxd6+. Black can't hold the position.
