Sep-30-04  InspiredByMorphy: Would 11. ...Bf5 have been better?
Sep-30-04  InspiredByMorphy: It is better! 11. ... Bf5 12. Bb5 Bxe5 13. Bxe8 Qxe8 14. O-O Bxd4+ 15. Qxd4 Qxe4 wins a piece.
Sep-30-04  Kean: IbyMorphy, thats a good piece job, the d6 bishop cleans the zone and the c8 awaites the moment to strike. This Hamel must have been one of Anderssen pupils, they have the same style, saccing for the initiative. Morphy sacced but I think he wasnt so intuitive, this two seem like Tals ancestors.
Feb-05-09  drkodos: 10. ..f5! is the move. Gives black a better postion and cooks this line.
Feb-05-09  drkodos: Recently White has been trying 10.Ne2 in these positions but after 10. ...Qe7 11. Nf4 Ng3! 12 Ne6!fxe6 13. Qxg4+ Qg7 14.dxe6 Qxg4 15.Nxg4 b5! White has serious problems and drops material. Despite the underdeveloped Black Queenside, the position is to -/=.
