Kibitzer's Corner
Aug-29-05  Hesam7: Fantastic technical mastery by Anand. A lesson on how to play against the IQP. After fixing White's first weakness (the IQP) Anand opens a new front by opening the h-file. The fact that 46 Nxc1 was a blunder does not devalue Anand's play. IMO under that kind of pressure sooner or later Salov would have made a mistake. Even after the best defense by White, Black has a large and convenient advantage.
