fredthebear: Stockfish does not seem to mind White giving away all his kingside pawns in the opening, and still uncastled. (Heiki Westerinen was not known for playing it close to the vest; he loved the King's Gambit.) 14.e6? instead of moving the light-squared bishop left Black better.

It was certainly an active, entertaining game. White did not get enough counterplay for his rooks.

perfidious: <fred>, on the topic of giving it all away on the kingside, there is the 'Wild Cunningham' line. While no examples of the intrepid Westerinen taking up the cudgels are in this DB, displaying the exuberance of youth, Reshevsky and Larsen (the KG was an early favourite of the great Dane) adopted the variation.
