Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-28-05  csmath: Another great game for Anand and amazingly well played rooks ending. Adams played rather solid game and yet he lost it anyway. Gotta be a great frustration to lose it like that.
Mar-28-05  babakova: I wouldnt call it solid, Adams created some pawn weaknesses, notably h5
Mar-28-05  babakova: Also my comp does not like 22...Qc2 which drops its eval about 0.5 pawn, and yes it seems a bit strange to exchange queens when there are so many targets for the white minor pieces, no?
Mar-28-05  csmath: 22. ... Qc2 is dubious true, however Nc2 would not go that much better. Anand just drives this game flawlessly.
Mar-29-05  THE pawn: < Anand just drives this game flawlessly>

True true, but the queen exchange was useless. Was Adams missing time? Qe6 leads to possible threats. Someone wants to analyse with fritz?

Feb-16-06  waddayaplay: Adams should have known that Anand had played virtually the same game in Anand vs M Sharif, 1993
