  MissScarlett: Skinner & Verhoeven give the ending as <40...Rxa2 41.h4 b5 42.h5 0-1>, but that would allow 41...Rxe2, so the above score is likely correct.

Aug-11-21  tbontb: With 16.Rd1 Kieninger ignores the storm clouds gathering over his K-position and Alekhine wins by an aesthetically pleasing 16....Nxg2 demolition sacrifice. Surprisingly, it seems this was only good for equality against precise defence as a later 20.Re1 should hold. Instead, engines recommend the more restrained 20....Qg6 17.g3 Bh3 18.Qd3 Bd6 as winning for Black. In the game, the ending after 24....Qxg2 is hopeless for White as the attack rages on.
