Dec-12-05  Koster: I prefer the Winawer, but it's hard to play the classical line better than Moro does here. White can only guard e5 with 32. Re1, but after Qd2 everything is attacked.
Dec-13-05  JohnBoy: <Koster> - after 32.Re1, I like ...Rc3 better than ...Qd2.

plang: For some reason the highly theoretical line 11 h4 has scored poorly for White. 15 Qe3 was new; 15 Bxc5 had been played by Smirin in his win over Lputian at Rostov na Donu 1993. Both 15 f5 and 15 g4 had been played as well. 18 Ng3 (rather than 18 Nd4) and 19 Rc1 were indications that Blacks attack was a bit faster then Whites. 20 Bxa6?! sped up Blacks attack some more; however 20 c3..Bxf1 21 Rhxf1..Nb3! 22 axb..axb 23 cxb..Qc2+! 24 Rxc2..bxc+ 25 Kc1..Ra1+ 26 Kd2..Rxf1 27 Ne2..Rd1# is an example of Blacks attacking potential. 20 c4 or 20 c5 were alternatives. 25..Qh4! was a clever move taking advantage of the weaknesses in Whites kingside.
