Mar-28-04  underrated: dose anyone have some analysis on blacks 4..d5? i am not very good and i tend to play quarky defences for black to throw off memory players. is this move ok? i play it when i can (although the rest of them moves different) but and it works for me but i dont play very good people...
Apr-16-04  d4Nf6Bg5: I do not recommend 4..d5!? I have played against this move once, and upon alittle analysis after the game, it seems black just doesn't recieve enough compensation for the pawn. I am not very strong however- and black may be able to equalize and draw, like he did in this game.

The Long Diagonal: Hello, I actually came here because I was just beaten badly in a blitz game where I played 4. ... d5. Instinctively, it felt quite good to me, but after some analysis I believe it's not a correct idea, so I agree with d4Nf6Bg5. Better to play 4. ... exf4 first, and ... d5 is a strong response for black after 5.Lxf4.

louispaulsen88888888: I came here because I kept playing 4...P-Q4? on ICC against one Akhenaten. It is not good. Next time I play this person I’ll try 4...PxP instead. Followed by P-Q4!! Let’s see how that goes.

OhioChessFan: Black's 25th move might be a decent Tuesday puzzle.
