- Reisswolf's Favourite Games
I love games that feature imaginative, sacrificial attacks. It is said that not all of Tal's attacks were sound. I don't care! Just as a great poem need not describe objective reality, so also a conception in chess need not be the purest axiomatic continuation of the position for the imagination of the player to shine through. Tal's dazzling play was a manifestation of his restless spirit, not to be tamed by the requirements of perfect soundness. And therein lies its appeal. But not all of the games in the collection feature wild sacrifices. I hope you have fun going through these games. I will add more to the collection over time.
