This haphazard collection was inspired by some reminiscing. We miss those greats before us, the old stories, legends, and lies that are not repeated anymore. We shake off the cob webs as we harken back to what was true, somewhat true, or not true at all, but good for a laugh. At times, we were spellbound by the greats that made it all look so easy.

Site definitely under construction by FTB. Check back this summer and it will be loaded up. Most of the games are crushes, beautiful combinations/double sacrifices, odd, rare, or unusual in some way, a few unknowns and forgottens I'd like to remember.

The collection is originally about the book links, mostly attacking, hustling chess with some classic instruction included. The fast tricks, traps and zaps below are unrelated to the books but of the same nature of play. A few games from here, a few from there, blunders everywhere. Most games are well-known, popular smashes frequently found in other collections, but some are obscure amusements that deserve more light for those on the winning side.
