moppa: Do you have any idea where i could follow the games live with an old smartphone? Chessdom is too heavy for my phone.

moppa: What I hope is that Carlsen wins Anand and then we see some other youngster bringing his game to a new level - and if we don't see that, then I hope Kramnik keeps his form for a couple of years.

Mar-18-13 Gelfand vs Carlsen, 2013 (replies)

moppa: Magnus' play reminds me of what I read from Jacob Aagaards book Excelling at Positional chess - here's the quote: "the choice of moves should not be made on an exact verdict of the final position, but on whether or not your position has improved or not". It might sound - as Aagaard ...

moppa: It looks like Bxh3 is possible... Though hard to imagine that Vishy missed the possibility

Feb-07-13 GRENKE Chess Classic (2013) (replies)

moppa: That's a good post, Zenagg.

Feb-04-13 M Perez Candelario vs Saleh Salman, 2012 (replies)

moppa: Not as easy as normal monday - in many situations the king could crawl away with the "free" move.

   Jan-27-13 A Giri vs Carlsen, 2013 (replies)

moppa: Houdini suggests a rather interesting line: ...Qd8 with the idea of ...Qd3, ...Rfb7 and ...Nf4 sac, eventually regaining the piece by scewering the White bishops.
