JohnBoy: Again, I am sure that black flagged out here. While white is significantly better, this is not a position ready for resignation.
Oct-27-09   Shajmaty: I agree, <JohnBoy>.
Nov-02-09   lopium: It reads <Sicilian Defense: Najdorf. Poisoned Pawn Variation>, I don't know what pawn was poisoned here.
Nov-02-09   WhiteRook48: it was no pawn... decline variation
Nov-03-09   GaeBulg: After 8 Qd3
the b pawn is the poisoned pawn. It's ready for the queen to take, but after the queen takes it she must move several times to avoid capture. In this game, the pawn was declined.

Black's down R vs B+N and three pawns. Time for a beer (root).

Eisenheim: blacks not really down vs b+n. its two rooks a bishop and three pawns for black, versus rook, bishop, knight and six pawns for white. most people would define that as even material. positionnaly white is superior and black doesnt have a lot to do. the passed e pawn is a threat, but this is not a resigning position.
Nov-14-09   Shajmaty: <beenthere240: <Johnboy> Black's down R vs B+N and three pawns. Time for a beer (root).> R versus N+3. Still some play, let me say...
